ZetaDisplay is a Swedish digital signage company (founded in 2003 in Malmö, headquarters at Höjdrodergatan 21) and Northern Europe's largest digital signage provider: about 250 employees, €54.5 million in revenue in 2024, 125,000 active installations in more than 50 countries and offices in eight European countries and the US. The company was previously listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, but the British Hanover Investors took it private in September 2021. In Finland, ZetaDisplay operates in Vantaa and Lahti with about 26 people, and its Finnish business continues from Marketmedia (founded in 2000), acquired in 2015.
Its product, Engage Suite, is a cloud CMS, alongside which the company sells hardware, installation, content production and 24/7 monitoring as one full-service package. Prices are not published online; sales are quote-based. Its Finnish customers are without exception large organisations: Veikkaus, Stockmann (video walls in six department stores), Hesburger, Finavia, Bilia, Metsä Fibre, Laattapiste, Neste.
InfoBox is a Finnish cloud platform from 2024, made for SMEs and mid-sized organisations: a public price from €7/screen/month (10–50 screens) or €9/screen/month (1–9 screens), a 14-day free trial with no credit card, GDPR compliant in Google Cloud's Finland region, and a founder you can reach directly. InfoBox also offers a display leasing package at a transparent price: a Hisense or Maxhub professional display, software and pre-installation from €24/screen/month, on a 36-month Grenke lease. Choose ZetaDisplay if you are a large chain, a public sector organisation or a retailer that needs a tailored full-service rollout for hundreds or thousands of screens.
Choose InfoBox if you are an SME that wants a transparent public price, self-service setup and either software for your own TVs or turnkey leasing.
ZetaDisplay's strength is size: 250 employees, 125,000 installations in more than 50 countries, offices in 8 countries, a growth strategy backed by the British Hanover Investors (a private equity firm) and the deepest public reference base in the Finnish market. Veikkaus (about 7,000 screens), Stockmann (video walls in six department stores), Finavia (Helsinki Airport parking areas), Hesburger and Metsä Fibre show that a large chain or public procurement is ZetaDisplay's core customer. In the full-service model, hardware, software, installation, content production and 24/7 monitoring come from the same vendor.
InfoBox's strengths are price, transparency and self-service for SMEs. A public price list online from €7/screen/month billed annually, a 14-day free trial, software that runs directly on Android TVs with no extra device, and every key integration (Power BI, Lounastaja, Sitedrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Canva, Google Slides, Sinebrychoff ContentHub, YouTube) included for every screen. A Finnish-language interface, support in Finnish, and founder Kasper Välimäki reachable directly at kasper@infoboxi.com. InfoBox also offers turnkey display leasing (Hisense or Maxhub display + software + pre-installation from €24/screen/month, 36-month Grenke lease) if you want the same complete package at a transparent price.
The price comparison clearly favours InfoBox, but ZetaDisplay does not publish its prices, so a direct comparison requires an estimate. Nordic enterprise digital signage vendors usually charge €20–60/screen/month for software alone, and a full-service package with hardware, installation and content production often ends up in the €80–200/screen/month range. InfoBox's public €7–9/screen/month is well below this, with no hidden costs. From an SME's point of view, ZetaDisplay's model is oversized. On the other hand, from the point of view of a 500-screen chain, InfoBox's self-service model does not replace ZetaDisplay's project and content services.
