InfoBox started from a real problem — digital signage was either too expensive, too complicated, or both. So we built something better.
Our story
Kasper ran several retail locations and wanted digital screens to show promotions and information. The available solutions were either built for enterprise budgets or clunky to manage. He designed his own setup instead.
Years later, after selling that retail business, he came back to the idea — this time to build it properly. He teamed up with Robert, and together they built the first prototype and founded InfoBox in late 2024.
Today, close to 300 Finnish businesses use InfoBox. We're VC-backed, all three founders have invested personally, and we've just kicked off our international expansion. Our churn rate tells the story better than anything: of nearly 300 customers, only three have ever left — and two of those went out of business.

Kasper Välimäki
CEO & Co-founder
Kasper founded InfoBox after running several retail locations and failing to find a digital signage solution that was both capable and affordable — so he built one himself. With a background spanning eCommerce, branding, and project management across healthcare, transportation, financial services, manufacturing, FMCG, and retail, he brings deep commercial experience to the company.

International Growth & Co-founder
Robert brings rare breadth: military service, managing DevOps and a coding team of 10+ on governmental software projects, and a customer success director role at a tech startup. He joined Kasper as co-founder to build the product from the ground up and now leads the company's international expansion.
Mikko Kurkela
CTO
Mikko has 15+ years of full-stack development experience across SaaS, mobile, and enterprise projects. A serial entrepreneur currently running a development team of 10+, he also leads Aikido dojos in Tampere and Hyvinkää. He joined InfoBox as a partner and technical co-founder to architect the platform.
