Pricing

Price comparison: Yodeck vs InfoBox

Yodeck publishes five price levels per screen per month, and each plan has its own feature set. The headline price on Basic is €8/screen/month, but what InfoBox includes as standard (Power BI, integrations, API, playback reports) only unlocks on Premium. InfoBox charges purely for the software per screen per month, and every feature is included in the price from the first screen.

Features

Point by point

Getting started

Yodeck

You sign up online and start either the permanent free one-screen plan or a 30-day free trial on five screens. No credit card. With an annual contract, Yodeck ships a Raspberry Pi-based Yodeck Player for every screen at no charge. The interface is available in Finnish, but onboarding materials and customer service are in English.

InfoBox

You sign up online, upload your content and connect a screen with the app. The first screen is up and running in 15 minutes. Remote or on-site onboarding is included in the software price, with no minimum number of screens. Most customers don't need lengthy training, though, because the Platform is deliberately so simple that you can learn it in a few minutes. The interface, guides and support are all available in Finnish.

Displays and hardware model

Yodeck

Wide support: Yodeck Player (based on Raspberry Pi 4, $79 one-off or included with an annual contract), Android TV and Android tablets, Amazon Fire TV, LG webOS and Samsung Tizen commercial displays with a native app, BrightSign players, Windows, ChromeOS, and Raspberry Pi 2–5 on your own devices. If you have already standardised on LG or Samsung commercial displays, Yodeck runs directly on the display.

InfoBox

Android TVs (Sony, Philips, TCL, Vestel, Maxhub, Hisense and other Android TV brands) run InfoBox directly with no extra device. For older TVs or LG and Samsung displays, any Android device plugged into the HDMI port will do: your own tablet, Fire TV, a generic Android stick or the optional €59 InfoBox Basic stick. The displays themselves are the customer's own or bought separately.

Pricing model and plan differences

Yodeck

Yodeck is split into five plans, with features tiered between them. The Free plan (one screen) only includes images and videos, no websites and no integrations. The Basic plan (€8/screen/month) adds websites via URL, YouTube and 80+ apps. Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Tableau, Grafana, the API and playback reports require the Premium plan (€11/screen/month). SSO/SAML, the audit log, custom user roles and workspaces only unlock on the Enterprise plan (€15/screen/month).

InfoBox

InfoBox has no tiers. Every feature is included for every screen: the Power BI integration, Canva, Google Slides, SharePoint, Google Drive, Lounastaja, Sitedrive, Sinebrychoff ContentHub, YouTube, scheduling, user management, screen status, automatic updates and websites via URL. The price only changes with the number of screens (€9/month for 1–9 screens, €7/month for 10–50 screens).

Integrations

Yodeck

More than 80 ready-made apps are Yodeck's clear strength. The Microsoft stack covers Teams, Teams Rooms, SharePoint, Viva Engage, SharePoint News and Planner (from the Premium plan). Dashboards: Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, Cyfe (Premium). Project management: Asana, Jira, Monday, Trello, Smartsheet, Airtable, Notion. HR: BambooHR, Bonusly, Team Celebrations. Social media: Walls.io, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn. News: Bloomberg, CNN, BBC, Reuters, AP News (Screenfeed library). The Salesforce integration was released in April 2026. There are no lunch menu or construction site integrations.

InfoBox

Ready-made integrations with Power BI, Canva, Google Slides, SharePoint, Google Drive, Lounastaja (lunch menus in Finnish restaurants), Sitedrive (construction site schedules), Sinebrychoff ContentHub and YouTube are included for every screen. Plus any website via URL. Fewer ready-made apps than Yodeck, but Lounastaja and Sitedrive are purely Finnish integrations that Yodeck does not offer.

Security and certifications

Yodeck

Yodeck is certified to ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 (in 2024). Encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Two-factor authentication (2FA) available. Daily backups on Amazon S3. No SOC 2 certification has been published. GDPR compliance is mentioned in general terms. Hosting on Amazon AWS, but the exact region (US or EU) is not published on the security page.

InfoBox

GDPR compliant, data is not transferred outside the EU. Data is stored in Google Cloud's Finland region (Hamina). A Finnish company subject to Finnish data protection law. There are no third-party audit certifications (ISO 27001, SOC 2) yet, but practical security (encryption, access control, backups) follows industry practice. If your procurement process requires ISO 27001 certification, Yodeck is better prepared on this point.

Data location

Yodeck

Hosting on Amazon AWS, but the exact region is not published. The security page mentions 'Amazon AWS' in general terms, with no country or region details. Yodeck takes no public position on where EU customers' data is stored. If data location is a critical requirement in your procurement process, confirm it with Yodeck separately.

InfoBox

Data is stored in Google Cloud's Finland region (europe-north1, Hamina). Publicly stated, fully GDPR compliant without a separate data processing agreement. The data location is Finnish, so there is no need to guess the EU region or ask separately.

Support and service model

Yodeck

Customer service in English: email, in-app support, a US phone number (+1 888) and a community forum. Response promised within ten hours. The dashboard is available in Finnish among 15 supported languages, but the guides (help.yodeck.com), support channels and contracts are in English. A one-hour SLA only on the Enterprise+ plan. Onboarding is self-service by default; tailored training only on the Enterprise+ plan.

InfoBox

Daily support in Finnish by email and chat, with guides publicly available online in the help.infoboxi.com help center. Remote or on-site onboarding is included in the software price for every customer. Installation is available for a small extra fee if you want to buy it. Founder Kasper Välimäki handles the hardest cases himself at kasper@infoboxi.com. Office in Tampere.

Remote management and monitoring

Yodeck

Browser-based management for multiple screens. Real-time screen status and remote diagnostics on all paid plans. The Yodeck player supports local caching, so content keeps playing for thirty days without a connection. Playback reports only on Premium and above. Player lockdown only on Enterprise.

InfoBox

One dashboard for all screens, included for every customer. Real-time online/offline status, remote diagnostics and content updates without a site visit. When offline, content keeps playing on schedule and syncs once the connection returns.

Contract model

Yodeck

Monthly or annual billing, no long commitments. With an annual contract, the Yodeck Player is included in the price. Headline prices are published in both euros and dollars, but contracts are US-based (California). Exchange rate fluctuations don't affect billing, because the EUR price is fixed in the contract.

InfoBox

Annual billing in euros with no long commitments. You can start with one screen, add screens at any time and end the subscription at the end of the year. A Finnish company, subject to Finnish consumer law.

Honest assessment

Where Yodeck is the better choice

Over more than ten years, Yodeck has built a strong international position with 55,000 customers and 250,000 screens. In some situations it is clearly a better choice than InfoBox.

  • A permanent free one-screen plan: you can run one screen forever at no cost. The feature set is limited (images and videos only, no integrations), but for a trial or a simple one-screen need it is the only permanent free offer in the industry. InfoBox has nothing comparable; its trial is a 14-day free period with no credit card.
  • Number of integrations: more than 80 ready-made apps compared with InfoBox's seven named ones. Particular strengths include Asana, Jira, Monday, Trello, Smartsheet, Airtable, Notion, BambooHR, Walls.io, Spotify, Bloomberg, Reuters and the Screenfeed news service. If you use these tools every day, Yodeck covers them directly with no separate integration work.
  • Native apps for commercial displays: LG webOS and Samsung Tizen commercial displays run directly with Yodeck's native app, with no separate Android device. Plus support for Raspberry Pi 2–5 devices and BrightSign players. With InfoBox, LG and Samsung commercial displays need an Android device connected to the HDMI port.
  • ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications (from 2024): if your procurement process or compliance team requires a third-party security certification, Yodeck meets this out of the box. InfoBox does not yet have published certifications.
  • Proven global scale: more than 55,000 customers and more than 250,000 screens in 135 countries, with customers including Adobe, Ford, Adidas, Walmart, Delta and Domino's. On the Inc. 5000 and Deloitte Technology Fast 500 lists two years in a row. For a large, risk-averse procurement team, Yodeck's size can be decisive.
  • Enterprise-grade security: on the Enterprise plan, SSO/SAML, audit log, custom user roles, workspaces and player lockdown. InfoBox has SSO sign-in but currently no audit log. If your organisation uses Okta or Azure AD sign-in widely, Yodeck Enterprise is better prepared on this point.
  • Yodeck Player free with an annual contract: a Raspberry Pi 4-based device comes with every screen when you choose annual billing. With InfoBox, the optional Basic stick costs €59 one-off.
Choosing

Which one is right for you

Choose Yodeck if

Yodeck is a natural choice when you want an international platform with a wide range of integrations, or want to start with one screen for free.

  • You want to start with one screen for free, permanently, with no need for integrations or more screens
  • You use Asana, Jira, Monday, Trello, Notion, Bloomberg, BambooHR or Walls.io every day and want them directly on your digital signage
  • You have already invested in LG webOS or Samsung Tizen commercial displays and want to avoid separate HDMI Android devices
  • Your procurement process requires a third-party security certification (ISO 27001 or equivalent)
  • You need an audit log or custom user roles combined with large-organisation management
  • You are part of an international group and your IT team works in English; support in Finnish is not critical
  • You have more than a hundred screens and a centralised global rollout matters more than the local language
  • You want the Yodeck Player included in the price with an annual contract
Recommended

Choose InfoBox if

InfoBox is a natural choice when you want a Finnish-language platform for the communications of a Finnish SME or public sector unit, with data stored in Finland.

  • You need a Finnish-language interface, support in Finnish and guides in Finnish so that anyone on the team can update the screen
  • You need integrations with YouTube, Power BI, Canva, Google Slides, Sinebrychoff ContentHub, SharePoint and Google Drive and other essential tools included as standard, not only on a €11/screen/month Premium plan
  • You need the Lounastaja integration (lunch menus that update automatically) or the Sitedrive integration (construction site schedules), which Yodeck does not have
  • You want your data in Finland (Google Cloud's Finland region, Hamina) without separate quote requests or data processing agreements
  • 1–50 digital signage screens cover your current needs (restaurants, shops, bars, construction sites, offices, lunch restaurants, pharmacies, furniture stores)
  • You value annual billing in euros with no currency risk and no US-based contract
  • You want to reach the founder directly when something unresolved comes up
  • You don't need a permanent free plan; a 14-day free trial is enough to support your decision
  • You don't want to buy displays separately: InfoBox now also offers turnkey display leasing (Hisense or Maxhub display, software and pre-installation from €24/screen/month, 36-month lease via Grenke)
Switching

How to switch from Yodeck to InfoBox

Your Yodeck subscription is probably monthly or annual with no long commitments. You can start trying InfoBox side by side on one screen before making a final decision. Existing Yodeck Player devices cannot be used with InfoBox, however, because they run Yodeck OS.

  1. 1Sign up for the 14-day free trial at infoboxi.com, no credit card needed.
  2. 2Export your current content from the Yodeck dashboard: images, videos and PDFs to your own computer. Yodeck is browser-based, so exporting works directly.
  3. 3List your current integrations in Yodeck (e.g. Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Asana, Bloomberg). Check that InfoBox's ready-made integrations cover the ones that are critical to you. The Finnish Lounastaja and Sitedrive integrations are an InfoBox advantage, while Asana, Jira and Bloomberg are not built into InfoBox (but can be shown as a website via URL).
  4. 4Upload your content to InfoBox: images, videos, PDFs and website URLs. Connect the ready-made integrations to YouTube, Power BI, Canva, Google Slides, Sinebrychoff ContentHub, Lounastaja, Google Drive and others.
  5. 5Connect one screen with the InfoBox app. Options: the built-in system of an existing Android TV, your own Android tablet, Fire TV, a generic Android stick or the €59 InfoBox Basic stick. Yodeck Player devices do not work with InfoBox.
  6. 6Run both side by side: keep the Yodeck subscription active on your other screens and compare usability, content and total cost for a couple of weeks.
  7. 7Once the result is clear: end your Yodeck subscription according to its terms and move the remaining screens to InfoBox. Yodeck contracts are typically flexible with no long commitments.

Frequently asked questions

Is Yodeck cheaper than InfoBox?+

On the headline price, yes; feature for feature, no. Yodeck's cheapest Basic plan costs €8/screen/month, while InfoBox is €9/screen/month (1–9 screens) or €7/screen/month (10–50 screens). Yodeck's Basic plan does not include the Power BI integration, Microsoft Teams, the API or playback reports, though: they require the Premium plan (€11/screen/month). InfoBox includes these as standard. Annual price for five screens on a like-for-like feature basis: InfoBox €540, Yodeck Premium €660. With 25 screens, InfoBox costs €2,100/year and Yodeck Premium €3,300/year.

Is Yodeck's free one-screen plan really free?+

Yes, Yodeck's Free plan is permanently free for one screen with no credit card. It includes images, videos and the basic interface. It does not include websites via URL, apps, integrations, YouTube or Power BI, though. In practice, the Free plan works well for a single restaurant's menu screen or a small trial, but not for real business use that needs scheduling, multiple screens or integrations. InfoBox has no permanent free plan, but the 14-day free trial gives access to every feature with no credit card.

Do I need a Yodeck Player?+

Not necessarily. Android TVs run directly with Yodeck's Android app, as do Fire TV and the Chrome browser. LG webOS and Samsung Tizen commercial displays also support a native app. With an annual contract, though, Yodeck ships a Yodeck Player (based on Raspberry Pi 4) for every screen free of charge, so most customers use it. A separate Yodeck Player costs $79 with monthly billing or with an annual contract without a screen.

Is Power BI included in Yodeck's cheapest plan?+

No. The Power BI integration, Microsoft Teams, Tableau, Grafana and the Yodeck API are only included from the Premium plan (€11/screen/month). On the Basic plan (€8/screen/month) you get websites via URL, YouTube videos and 80+ apps, but no named Power BI integration. InfoBox includes the Power BI integration for every screen (from €7/screen/month).

Can I get Yodeck in Finnish?+

Only partly. Yodeck's dashboard is available in Finnish among 15 supported languages, so users can switch the interface to Finnish. Customer service, guides (help.yodeck.com), onboarding materials and contracts are in English, though. Yodeck has no office in Finland and no customer service in Finnish; the support number is a US 888 number. InfoBox is designed to work in Finnish from start to finish: the interface, guides, support and onboarding are all in Finnish.

Is the data stored in Finland with both?+

InfoBox's data is stored in Google Cloud's Finland region (europe-north1, Hamina). Fully GDPR compliant, data is not transferred outside the EU, and no separate data processing agreement is needed. Yodeck uses Amazon AWS, but the exact region (US or EU) is not published on the security page. If data location is a critical requirement in your procurement process, confirm it with Yodeck separately. For Finnish public sector or healthcare organisations, this is often a deciding factor.

Can I switch from Yodeck to InfoBox?+

You can start InfoBox's 14-day free trial at any point, even while your Yodeck subscription is active. A Yodeck subscription is typically monthly or annual with no long commitments, so you can end it according to its terms. Content (images, videos, PDFs) is easy to export from the Yodeck dashboard to your own computer and upload again to InfoBox. Yodeck Player devices do not work with InfoBox, however, because they run Yodeck OS.

Does Yodeck have Finnish customers?+

Publicly, there is a Visma case study in which Visma uses Yodeck in its Nordic offices, including Finland. There is no separate Finnish reference or local reseller network, though. Yodeck's Finnish customers are typically Finnish subsidiaries of international groups, where IT decisions are made globally. InfoBox focuses specifically on Finnish SMEs (restaurants, shops, construction sites, offices), and its 400+ customers are Finnish.
